Homecoming (by Hengki Koentjoro)
I randomly came across this community page on Facebook, which contains a number of photos (taken by Kaysh Shinn) that depict Houston’s hardcore music scene in the mid ’80s. I was a baby when the pictures were taken, and they make me nostalgic for something that I never experienced. The city seemed cooler then than what I know of it today. I’m convinced that every new generation will envy what came before it - kind of like the characters in Woody Allen’s latest, Midnight in Paris. Anyway, check out the photos. They’re fun to see.
